The Bible says, "Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven". At Harvest Church of Murfreesboro, we feel that ministering to children is essential in the preparation of God's work for the future of our world!
We conduct "Children's Church" during every Sunday morning service. We want to make the most of every moment that we have with the children, and we strive to make Biblical truths come alive, building a strong childhood foundation. Each year, as the children grow, we build upon that foundation, and it is our prayer that every child will make a personal decision and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and be baptized.
There is nothing more rewarding than touching the life of a child. There is nothing more satisfying than guiding a child to Jesus Christ. Working in the Children’s Ministry is one of the most fulfilling things you can do. Is the baby you are rocking the next president of the United States? Is the hyperactive preschooler destined to be the CEO of a major corporation? Is the next Benny Hinn or Billy Graham in our children's church? You will never know, this side of eternity, the impact that you will have! However, you can be assured that God’s Word will not return void, but achieve the purpose for which it was sent (Isaiah 55:11).
Our Children's Ministry leaders are Peggy Pinkston, Bobby and Darlene Rich. They do a super job with the kids, and the children learn God's Word during Children's Church and they also make various different crafts.
